About: Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) is the Queensland Government’s dedicated global business agency, driven by the mission: "Connecting Queensland business to the world and the world to Queensland."
We support the international expansion of local companies while facilitating connections with overseas investors, business partners, buyers, and global talent. Through these efforts, TIQ fosters global success for enterprises and ensures the sustainable growth of the Queensland economy.
Headquartered in Brisbane, TIQ operates an extensive network including 27 representative offices across 18 international markets, alongside eight regional locations within Queensland. Our global team of specialist advisors leverages deep expertise and vast networks to help create the next generation of success stories in Queensland.
Furthermore, with Brisbane selected as the host city for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, events will take place across the state, from the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast to Toowoomba, Townsville, and Cairns. This represents the largest international event in Queensland’s history.
TIQ promotes Games-related business and investment opportunities to domestic and international audiences, driving growth for companies within and beyond the state. Through our collaboration with TIQ, JASHIE aims to create practical, future-oriented partnerships between Japanese companies and Queensland.
