Cristina is an accomplished international business leader with over two decades’ experience working at the intersection of culture, commerce, and diplomacy between Australia and Japan.

Cristina has held leadership roles across corporate, government, and not-for-profit organisations where she led strategic programs to deepen bilateral business ties. She has also managed commercial and customer experience teams delivering official hospitality and travel programs for major global sporting events, including Rugby World Cup 2019 and 2023, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, World Baseball Classic 2023, and the Australian Open.

Earlier in her career, Cristina gained extensive experience in bilateral relations through positions with the Australian Olympic Committee Advisory Team in Tokyo, the Australia-Japan Youth Dialogue, the Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan, Australia Business Asia, Meat & Livestock Australia, and the Australian Embassy Tokyo.

A recipient of the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship, Cristina holds a Master of Intercultural Communication from Kyushu University and a Bachelor of International Business from Queensland University of Technology. She is fluent in English, Japanese, and Spanish.

これまでに、企業・政府・非営利団体においてリーダーシップを発揮し、日豪間のビジネス連携を深めるための戦略的プログラムの立案・推進を担ってきました。また、ラグビーワールドカップ（2019年・2023年）、東京2020オリンピック、ワールドベースボールクラシック（2023年）、全豪オープンなど、世界的なスポーツイベントにおける公式ホスピタリティおよび旅行プログラムの運営において、商業部門およびカスタマーエクスペリエンスチームのマネジメントを務めた経験も有しています。

キャリア初期には、東京でのオーストラリアオリンピック委員会アドバイザリーチーム、Australia–Japan Youth Dialogue、在日オーストラリア・ニュージーランド商工会議所、Australia Business Asia、ミート・アンド・ライブストック・オーストラリア、在東京オーストラリア大使館などにおいて、日豪間の関係構築に関わる幅広い業務を経験しました。

文部科学省奨学金（Monbukagakusho）を受け、九州大学にて異文化コミュニケーション修士号を取得。オーストラリアのQueendland University of Technolgyでは国際ビジネス学士号を取得しています。英語、日本語、スペイン語の3言語に堪能です。
